Superior Province-Wawa Subprovince, Hemlo Greenstone Belt.
Why is this Exciting
Located on the Northern Arm of the Hemlo Greenstone Belt.
Subvolcanic intrusives are very similar to the footwall rocks of Hemlo Mines.
This is the only other occurance in the belt with analgous footwall-type rocks as Hemlo Mines.
Property
Area has similar green mica alteration as the mine.
Intrusives that potentially fertilized the greenstone belt and Fe-formation carrying gold (1.0 m of 37.4 g/t Au, just off property).
