Located in the Hemlo Greenstone Belt, Wawa Suprovince. This property is on trend to Hemlo Mines.
Hemlo Mines (+25 Moz Au) is intimately associated with barite and molydenum. This property is down dip of massive barite containing gold and molydenum.
90% of Hemlo's 25 Moz gold is below 500 m depth. This depth would be present on this property since it is the down dip extension of these barite beds. This is an analogous situation to Hemlo Mines. This is the only other area in the district that has these similar characteristics to the current Mine.
Soil-Gas Survey to define oxidation at depth, since there is significant overburden (50m) concealing outcrop, which prevented possible discovery.
Gravimetrics. To identify barite hosted gold, as seen at Hemlo (+25 Moz)
